If people see your profile on that page then they will be more inclined to go to your page. If for nothing better than just being curious. If other bands like you, then the chances of getting signed increase as well. A lot of "unheard ofs" and local bands sign bands themselves, so just try to get the attention you need by making new friends...

Well i would suggest to go on your other account if you have one and post bulletins about your music...or you could make a banner and have people put it on there page and people will evenutally end up clicking the banner...and go to your music page...

As long as you do not set your profile to private, everyone that is a member of myspace will be able to look at your page. I myself am hoping that a publisher will want to publish my poems in a book. Just keep adding your music and accept friend invitations, you never know what will happen for you. I think you have a great shot, I mean who knows? you need to add a lot of people, send a lot of comments, post a lot of bullitins, and just get the word out there.

a lot of up-and-coming bands use sites like www.friendstorm.net and www.tonsofadds.com to add new people on myspace.

people aren't going to come to you but if you put the work in and you really are talented then you have a decent chance.
